Through Leonard-McDowell, LLC, he has worked with Symbios Medical Products, Solstice Medical, Patriot Pharmaceuticals (a subsidiary of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc), and Ovation Pharmaceuticals; and prepared sales proposals for the orphan drug programs of Pfizer and Insmed, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company;. In addition, he has served as a networked consultant for BioPharma,Advisors, LLC. He is also actively involved as reseller in providing information technology solutions to companies in Life Sciences. Currently, he is representing Scale Computing which provides lost cost, scalable data storage utilizing cloud computing and virtualization for cost control.
He recently was instrumental in helping OrthoPediatrics, which designs and manufactures specialized orthopedic medical devices and related products for children and those of small stature, acquire $2 million in grant money from the 21st Century Research and Technology Fund. The grant money will be used to develop and market their Quiet Cast Removal System, or QCR™.
As VP Business Development for E-Dentist.com, Frank grew the company 26% in spite of the recession. While Senior Director with Prestwick Pharmaceuticals he increased sales of Tetrabenazine from $1.5 M to $5.8 M in addition to managing distribution and trade. He leveraged training and mentorship skills to maximize productivity of sales professionals, and to educate clients on products. For Intermune, as National Accounts Director, he administered and grew Managed Care plans in the Northeast and Midwest (Anthem, HIP, CareFirst, Keystone Mercy, Oxford) to grow business.
He drove marketing and sales of $300M as Regional Vice President of GlaxoSmithKline. Frank designed regional business/ marketing plans, controlled regional budgets of $2.5M, and resolved customer service issues.

They have 3 daughters, Clare who is 13; Colleen,11; and Annie who is 8. The girls participate in Irish step dancing. As a family, they like to travel and explore different areas of this beautiful country. |

Frank, a mini marathon runner since age 11, is a dedicated family man and has been married to his wife and business partner, Erin (the McDowell of Leonard-McDowell) for 15 years.Erin is an avid gardener and as a working RN provides her inside perspective to understanding the needs and demands of the Life Sciences industries.
