Ashley joined Leonard-McDowell as a part-time intern this year. She is a student at Anderson University majoring in Marketing and wanted to begin to gain real world experience to enhance her studies. She has worked on many projects and is a great asset as she applies her formal education and growing work experience to each assignment. |
She also participates in track at AU and this year she was an Honoree at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Academic All-Conference selections have at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA and are varsity athletes. The cumulative GPA is the student-athlete's GPA at the end of the semester preceding the end of the spring season. The student-athlete has completed the equivalent of a full academic year, full time enrolled, at their institution to be eligible for the Academic All-Conference award.
Ashley is an active member of Students in Free Enterprise at AU where her team won the year-long consulting competition in 2008. In 2009 she was a part of the SIFE presentation team that won regionals and went on to be a semifinalist at nationals. In hopes of receiving scholarship money for her education, Ashley participated in the Miss Indiana contest where she was 3rd runner-up.
