Tumblr could be…
Tumblr could be…tumbling into Yahoo’s hands
When I think of a search engine the first name that usually comes to mind is Google (Quiet down Bing, it’s never going to happen). For many others this is most likely the case as well, however, there was a time when Yahoo was considered the leading name in search engines. That said, Yahoo has since appeared to fall off the map, as many consider them to be behind the times when it comes to trends. Unlike Yahoo, Google has taken leaps and bounds to make sure they stay hip, offering a clean search engine, as well as email, social networking, and integration with Youtube. It would appear that Yahoo has finally realized the error of their ways, and is hoping to remedy that with the purchase of Tumblr.

Tumblr quickly made their mark in internet history by offering a more photo-oriented blogging interface. In a time where just about everyone owns a digital camera, this was a very wise decision, as Tumblr now has over 100 million blogs. To top off their success, Yahoo announced today that they may be purchasing Tumblr for a reported 1.1 billion dollars. This could be a very wise move for Yahoo, as they currently offer little to no social networking services, and are more news and email oriented. In today’s age it seems most companies need to have a social networking tie-in if they wish to survive, for the massive demographic that is teens and college students thrive on it.
With the sales of digital cameras and smartphones going up every month, it seems safe to say that Tumblr will only accrue more and more users, and amass more and more wealth. If Yahoo goes through with this they could quickly reestablish themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The deal could be finalized by Monday, but only time will tell if this is the saving grace Yahoo needs.

Love is in the air and so is the beginning of pollen and runny noses. If you’ve been planning a special night for your loved one this week, the odds are you’ve spent money (unless you’re really crafty). This means that you’ve trusted a business or businesses with your credit card information. I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that you would like to think that information is in safe hands. I’m going to go even further and assume that the businesses who took your credit card information would like to think they can keep it safe. While many large companies have already established a security system for their client’s information, many smaller and newer businesses have not. Well, new business owners, why not feel the love and begin a relationship with Leonard McDowell?
If you are a business owner then you likely know how rewarding it can be to serve a customer. You also know how stressful this can be, as you are not only worried about satisfying them, but keeping their information safe. With the entire business world heading in the direction of cloud storage, cybersecurity is more important than ever before. One could easily attempt to tackle this themself by training their team and hoping that is enough. While this may sound easy enough, it can quickly become quite costly, as you not only need to continually educate your staff on the latest threats, but also upgrade your equipment and software, which entails licensing costs. This not only means more money, but also equates to more stress for you, and we all know stress is bad for business. If you are stressed out then your customer service drops, and if your customer service drops then your customers aren’t happy, which can lead to angry customers doing irrational things like…you get the idea. Wouldn’t it be great if you knew that perfect someone who could simply take this entire burden off of your plate, and put it on theirs? Well today is your lucky day, business owner, meet my friend Leonard McDowell.

This will not only give you peace of mind, but your customers as well. A happy customer is a returning customer, which is something I’m sure you all want. Furthering their happiness will be your ability to give them more attention and better service, as you won’t be busy training your team over cybersecurity or pouring thousands of dollars into upgraded equipment and software.
So what are you waiting for, pick up that card (or look at the bottom of this article) and email Leonard McDowell today!
